Robin de Raaff's L'Azur premieres in Luzern

This summer, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Groot Omroepkoor will present a new work from the Netherlands during their European tour. L’Azur, a cantata for choir and orchestra by Robin de Raaff. De Raaff wrote L’Azur in honor of the 100th birthday of Pierre Boulez.

• It will have its world premiere on 27 August 2025 during the prestigious Lucerne Festival in Switzerland, conducted by chief conductor Karina Canellakis.
• Four days later, on 31 August 2025, the German premiere will take place during Musikfest Berlin.
• The Dutch premiere will take place in the 2026–2027 season during the NTR Saturday Matinee in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
